Maid Service in Macomb and Oakland County
The same vetted person, in your home, on a schedule you set.
DITA Pro Clean runs a maid service for households across Macomb County and eastern Oakland County, which means the same vetted, background-checked cleaner or pair comes to your home on a fixed schedule and works from a written room-by-room checklist. Unlike a one-off booking, ongoing housekeeping services build knowledge of your home: which linens get changed, which surfaces need a specific product, and which room gets the extra fifteen minutes this week.
Who this is for
Households that want a standing arrangement rather than a transaction. That includes two-income families in Macomb Township and Rochester Hills, professionals in Royal Oak and Birmingham who are gone all week, older homeowners in Grosse Pointe and Clinton Township who want reliable help without a stranger each visit, and anyone who has typed housekeeper near me and hesitated because of who might show up.
Why households choose DITA
Trust is the whole product in a maid service. Every cleaner is vetted and background-checked before they are given a key or an alarm code, and access items are held by Dita Hoxha rather than circulated among staff. Dita does the walkthrough herself, sets the checklist, and stays the point of contact, so a change in your routine is one text message. DITA Pro Clean is locally owned and operated and fully insured, with a certificate available on request.
How it differs from recurring house cleaning
Maid service is about who comes and what they handle, including linens and laundry. Recurring cleaning is about how often the standard house clean happens. Most maid service clients are on a recurring schedule, but not every recurring client wants their laundry touched.
How often do you need us?
Weekly and every other week are the two common patterns. Monthly works for smaller or tidier households, and some clients add a half-day mid-week for laundry and linens.

What's included in maid service
This is the checklist your cleaners work from. Dita writes it against your actual floor plan at the walkthrough, and nothing on it is an optional extra.
- A named cleaner assigned to your homeThe same person or the same pair each visit. If they are ill or on vacation, we tell you in advance who is covering and brief them from your written checklist.
- Kitchen reset every visitCounters, sink, backsplash and cabinet fronts wiped, appliance exteriors cleaned, microwave cleaned inside, stovetop degreased, dishes dealt with as agreed, floor swept and mopped.
- Bathrooms sanitized every visitToilets, tubs, showers, glass, mirrors, chrome and floors, with the same attention to the toilet base and shower door track that a rushed visit skips.
- Beds, linens and laundryBeds made every visit, sheets changed on the schedule you set, towels swapped, and laundry washed, folded and put away where that is part of your arrangement.
- Dusting and glass throughoutSurfaces, sills, ledges, ceiling fan blades within reach, picture frames, mirrors, interior glass and the storm door that shows every fingerprint.
- Floors on a rotationCarpets vacuumed and hard floors damp-mopped every visit, with a rotating focus so edges, under furniture and closet floors come round properly rather than never.
- Tidying to your rulesWe straighten and reset rooms according to what you tell us at the walkthrough, and we never move or file paperwork, mail or anything you have set aside.
- A written checklist you can changeRoom by room, in writing, adjusted whenever your household changes. A new baby, a new dog, a parent moving in, a room becoming an office, all of it changes the list.
Available as add-ons
Scheduled alongside your regular visits, or booked as a one-off when you need them.
- Inside the oven and inside the refrigerator on a rotation
- Interior windows and window tracks seasonally
- Ironing and wardrobe organization
- Pantry and cabinet interiors reorganized
- Change-of-season linen and closet swap
- Pet care support, crate and bowl cleaning, hair removal
- Errand-free grocery unpack and fridge reset
Continuity is the service
Anyone can clean a kitchen once. The value of a maid service is that the same person cleans yours forty times a year and remembers it.
They know the guest bath is only used in December, that the mudroom takes the worst of the winter salt, that the master shower has hard-water film that needs a descaler and not a spray, and that the dog is fine with the vacuum but not with the mop bucket. None of that fits in a booking form. It accumulates.
Trust, keys and who is actually in your house
Handing a key to a company is the real decision, not the price.
Every DITA Pro Clean cleaner is vetted and background-checked before they are given an address. Keys, lockbox codes, garage codes and alarm codes are held by Dita Hoxha herself rather than passed around a crew or stored in a shared app. You know the name of the person coming, you meet them, and you see them again.
The company is fully insured, which matters both for damage and for anyone working in your home, and a certificate is available whenever a condo board or HOA asks.
Housekeeping in a Michigan house
The work shifts with the calendar here, and a standing arrangement is what makes that possible.
From November through March, entryways, mudrooms and the first stretch of hardwood take road salt and slush, so those get priority every visit. In April and May, pollen loads onto sills, window tracks and ledges, and the rotation shifts to glass and window work. Through summer, lower levels hold humidity, so utility sinks, basement floors and storage shelving come round more often. Homes near the Grosse Pointes take lake-effect grit on sills and screens all year.
A one-off cleaner never sees that pattern. A housekeeper who has your home on a route works it into the rotation without being asked.
What we do not do
We do not move heavy furniture, climb beyond a step stool, handle biohazards, or touch your paperwork, mail and personal items beyond straightening. We will not quietly reorganize a room because we think it would be better. If something needs a different trade, we say so.
Choosing your schedule
Weekly suits busy family homes, pets and shoes-on households. Every other week suits most couples and is the most common pattern on our routes. Monthly suits a tidy household of one or two.
Recurring Cleaning walks through how we choose honestly, including why the first visit runs longer than the ones after it. If your home is a condo or apartment with building rules, see Apartment and Condo Cleaning.

Good to know
Maid Service, your questions answered
What does a maid service do that a one-off clean does not?
It builds continuity. A one-off clean is a stranger following a generic list for a few hours. Ongoing housekeeping services mean the same person learns your home, so linens get changed on the right week, the natural stone counter gets the right product, and the room you actually care about gets the extra time. Standards rise over months rather than resetting every visit.
Will it really be the same person every time?
That is how we staff, and it is the main reason clients stay. Vacations and illness happen, and when they do we tell you in advance who is coming and brief them from your written checklist rather than sending someone cold.
How do you handle my house key?
Keys, lockbox codes and garage codes are held by Dita, the owner, not distributed among staff or stored in a shared app. Access is logged, and if you end service the key comes back to you in person. Alarm codes are treated the same way.
Are your housekeepers background-checked?
Yes. Every cleaner is vetted and background-checked before they are trusted with an address, a key or a code, and DITA Pro Clean is fully insured. This is a locally owned and operated company, not a platform that dispatches whoever accepted the job first.
Do I need to tidy before you arrive?
Clear surfaces help, because time spent relocating objects is time not spent cleaning them. But you are not expected to clean before the cleaner. Tell us at the walkthrough how you want clutter handled and we follow that rule rather than guessing.
Can I change the schedule around holidays or travel?
Yes. Scheduling is flexible and it is one text message to (248) 971-4886. Skipped weeks are normal, and we will often suggest a slightly longer visit on the return rather than pretending nothing built up.
What if I want a single visit instead of a standing schedule?
Then book One Time Cleaning, with no contract attached. If the house needs a reset before a regular schedule starts, Deep Cleaning is usually the honest first step, and after that House Cleaning on a route keeps it there.
