Airbnb Cleaning Service in Metro Detroit

Guest-ready by check-in, with photos to prove it.

DITA Pro Clean runs an Airbnb cleaning service for short-term rental hosts across Macomb County and eastern Oakland County, built around same-day turnovers between an 11am checkout and a 3pm check-in. We strip and remake beds, handle linen and towels, restock consumables, reset the property to your staging photos, and send photo verification when the unit is finished so you can approve the turnover without driving over.

Who this is for

Hosts with one property or a small portfolio, co-hosts managing units for owners, and anyone renting a house near downtown Detroit, a condo in Royal Oak or Birmingham, or a lake-adjacent property out toward New Baltimore and Chesterfield. It also fits mid-term corporate rentals and travel-nurse stays where the turnover standard is the same even if the stay is longer.

Why households choose DITA

A guest-ready standard is not a lived-in standard, and the difference is what a review is written about. Dita Hoxha builds a property-specific checklist against your listing photos, so every turnover ends with the property looking like what the guest booked. Cleaners are vetted, background-checked and fully insured, the same small team works your unit so they know where the spare linens live, and you get photo verification rather than a text saying it is done.

How it differs from post construction cleaning

An Airbnb turnover is fast, repeatable and driven by a calendar. A post construction clean is slow, sequenced over several days and driven by dust that keeps resettling.

How often do you need us?

Turnover-based. We schedule against your booking calendar, including same-day changeovers, back-to-back weekends and last-minute bookings where capacity allows.

What's included in airbnb cleaning

This is the checklist your cleaners work from. Dita writes it against your actual floor plan at the walkthrough, and nothing on it is an optional extra.

  • Same-day turnover between checkout and check-inWe work the window your calendar gives us, typically 11am to 3pm, and we tell you honestly in advance if a booking pattern leaves too little time rather than rushing it and hoping.
  • Beds stripped, remade and stagedAll bedding removed, mattress protectors checked, fresh linens fitted, pillows and cushions plumped and set to your listing photo, and used linens bagged or laundered depending on your arrangement.
  • Towels and bathroom resetTowels swapped and folded to your standard, toilet cleaned inside and out, shower and tub scrubbed, glass cleared, mirrors polished, chrome dried streak-free, floor mopped, hair checked for on every surface.
  • Kitchen returned to zeroDishwasher emptied, dishes checked item by item for residue, counters and backsplash degreased, sink scrubbed, appliance exteriors cleaned, microwave cleaned inside, refrigerator emptied of guest leftovers and wiped.
  • Consumables restockedToilet tissue, paper towel, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher tablets, trash liners, coffee and any welcome items you supply, counted and replaced to a set par level each turnover.
  • Photo verification sent to the hostDated photos of each key area at the end of the turnover, so you can confirm the property is guest-ready from anywhere and have a record if a guest later disputes condition.
  • Damage and missing-item reportingWe report stains, breakages, missing linens, burnt-out bulbs and anything left behind, with photos, before the next guest arrives rather than after they complain.
  • Reset to the listing photosFurniture squared, remotes in place, chairs pushed in, blinds set to the same height, welcome materials laid out, so the property matches what the guest booked.
  • Trash, recycling and outdoor checkAll bins emptied and taken to the curb or corral on the right day, patio furniture wiped and set, entry swept, and winter walkways checked for salt residue tracked inside.

Available as add-ons

Scheduled alongside your regular visits, or booked as a one-off when you need them.

  • In-house laundering of linens and towels between stays
  • Linen par stock management, we track and flag replacements
  • Mid-stay cleans for stays longer than a week
  • Deep clean between seasons or after a long-term guest
  • Consumables purchased and stocked on your behalf
  • Emergency same-day call-out for a late cancellation or a bad checkout
  • Seasonal reset for lake-area properties opening in spring

The turnover window is the whole job

Short-term rental cleaning is not house cleaning done faster. It is a timed operation with a fixed deadline and a stranger inspecting the result.

An 11am checkout and a 3pm check-in gives four hours, and part of that goes to travel and to the guest who leaves late. So the work has to be sequenced rather than improvised: strip beds first so linens can go in, kitchen and bathrooms next because they carry the most risk, floors last, staging and photos at the end.

We build that sequence per property during the walkthrough, which is why the same small team works your unit every time. They know where the spare duvet covers are, which drawer the remotes live in, and that the second bathroom exhaust fan rattles unless the cover is seated properly.

Guest-ready versus lived-in

The gap between those two standards is where bad reviews come from.

A guest opens the microwave. Checks the shower drain. Runs a hand along the headboard. Looks at the sheets under a phone light. Pulls out the cutlery drawer. None of that happens in a family home, and all of it happens in a rental.

Guest-ready means no hair on any surface, chrome dried rather than wiped, stainless free of fingerprints, glassware checked individually, the toaster crumb tray emptied, the refrigerator cleared of whatever the last guest left, and every cushion and remote returned to the position in your listing photos.

Linens, the part hosts underestimate

Most turnover failures are linen failures. There were not enough sets, or the laundry did not come back in time, or a stained sheet went back on a bed.

Two workable systems. Par stock on site, meaning two or three full sets per bed, which lets a same-day turnover finish inside the window because nothing waits on a dryer. Or off-site laundering, where we take the used sets and return fresh ones on the next visit.

Either way we count what is there, flag anything stained or thinning before it goes back on a bed, and tell you when the stock needs replacing rather than letting you find out on a Friday in July.

Photo verification and reporting

Every turnover ends with dated photos of the beds, the bathrooms, the kitchen and the main living space, sent to you. If a guest reports a problem, you have a record of the condition at handover.

We also report what we find: stains, breakages, burnt-out bulbs, missing towels, damage to walls or furniture, and items left behind. That report goes to you before the next guest arrives, which is the only useful time to have it.

Detroit-area realities

Winter turnovers take longer. Salt and slush come in on every guest’s boots, entry floors need real work, and walkways need checking before a guest arrives with a suitcase. Build that into the window from November through March.

Lake-area properties out toward New Baltimore and Chesterfield collect grit on sills, screens and slider tracks, and they need a full reset when the season opens in spring rather than a standard turnover.

Downtown Detroit and Royal Oak units are usually in buildings, which means parking, loading doors, elevators and quiet hours are part of the schedule, not an afterthought.

If your unit sits in a managed building, the access rules described under Apartment and Condo Cleaning apply to a turnover exactly as they do to a resident clean.

Once or twice a year, go deeper

Turnovers keep a property guest-ready; they do not reach grout, appliance interiors, vent covers and window tracks. Book Deep Cleaning before your first booking of the season and again after a long-term guest moves out. If you are converting a property that was previously a long-term rental, Move Out Cleaning is the right scope for the changeover, since it covers inside every cabinet, closet and appliance.

Service area

We service short-term rentals throughout Macomb County and eastern Oakland County, including Sterling Heights, Clinton Township, Macomb Township, Warren, Utica, Washington Township, Chesterfield, New Baltimore, Troy, Royal Oak, Rochester, Rochester Hills, Birmingham, Grosse Pointe and Detroit.

Good to know

Airbnb Cleaning, your questions answered

Can you handle a same-day turnover between an 11am checkout and a 3pm check-in?

Yes, that is the standard job. The four-hour window is workable for most one and two-bedroom properties in Metro Detroit. For larger houses or back-to-back weekend bookings we will tell you in advance if the window is genuinely too tight, because a rushed turnover shows up in a review and costs you more than a shifted check-in time.

How do you handle linens?

Two ways, and you pick. Either we work from a par stock you keep on site, swapping used sets for fresh and bagging the dirty ones for you, or we take linens away, launder them and return them for the next turnover. On-site par stock is faster and cheaper on a tight same-day window, so most hosts run two or three sets per bed.

What is photo verification?

At the end of every turnover we send dated photos of the beds, bathrooms, kitchen and main living area. You approve the property is guest-ready without driving over, and you have a record of its condition at handover if a guest later claims something was wrong.

What is the difference between a guest-ready standard and a lived-in standard?

A lived-in standard is clean enough for the people who already live there and forgive small things. A guest-ready standard assumes a stranger will photograph the shower drain, open the microwave and check the sheets for a single hair. Guest-ready means no hair anywhere, no water spots on chrome, no fingerprints on stainless, no crumbs in the toaster, no guest leftovers in the fridge, and everything squared to the listing photo.

Do you restock supplies?

Yes. We restock to a par level you set for toilet tissue, paper towel, soaps, dishwasher tablets, liners and coffee, and we flag when your on-site stock is running down. We can also purchase supplies on your behalf if you would rather not manage it.

Do you work with more than one property?

Yes. If you run several units, Dita sets a standing scope and turnover price per property so a booking change is one message. Hosts with a unit in a managed building should also see Apartment and Condo Cleaning, since access, parking and quiet hours still apply.

What about the start and end of the season?

Book Deep Cleaning before your first booking of the season and after a long-term guest checks out. Turnovers keep a property guest-ready, but they do not replace grout, appliance interiors, vent covers and window tracks once a year.

How do you get in?

Smart lock code, lockbox or key held by the owner. Codes are not shared around the team, and if you rotate a code between guests just send the new one to (248) 971-4886 before the turnover.
